Attention Deficit
ADHD is characterized by several symptoms, including difficulty in paying attention, distractibility, having a hard time following through on things, and sometimes, over-activity and impulsivity.
Licensed Educational Psychologists do not provide medical diagnosis of ADHD, however, comprehensive diagnostic measures are utilized in identifying a profile of attention difficulties and utilizing the results to develop an appropriate individualized education plan. The evaluation results can also be used by the child's treating team to determine the best course of treatment.
